Quality Infiniti Q50 Models in Cleveland, TN
When it comes to luxury vehicles, Infiniti is one of the first choices that comes to mind for a reason. Known for making high-class sedans and SUVS, Infiniti vehicles are refined and sophisticated, and the Infiniti Q50 continues that trend. A powerful engine, rear- and all-wheel drive systems and head-turning style are just some of the features of this excellent Infiniti sedan.
Brief History of the Infiniti Q50
Introduced to the world in 2013, the Q50 was the successor to the G37. Built as a compact executive car, the Q50 was also the first Infiniti hybrid available in the entry level model. This sedan was designed with premium style in mind. It introduced Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering™ technology, something Infiniti claimed was the world’s first of its kind, allowing drivers to increase their direct driving feel by intelligently and rapidly communicating road surface feedback to the driver.
Since then, the Q50 has continued to improve and upgrade each year, making this vehicle a top choice for those who want a luxury sedan without breaking the bank.
Seating up to 5 people, the luxurious cabin of the Q50 matched the sporty exterior, highlighted by dual exhaust pipes and aluminum wheels. The 2014 Infiniti Q50 came in three trim levels: Base, Premium and Sport, all with the option of rear- or all-wheel drive. A 3.7-liter V6 engine was standard, as was a seven-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
A hybrid model was available as well, the first one available in Infiniti’s entry level class.
The 2016 Infiniti Q50 was the car’s first major update, replacing the single 3.7-liter V6 engine choice with more powerful turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engine options. In addition, Infiniti’s Direct Adaptive Steering system was updated and driver-adjustable suspension dampening was added for the 2016 model year.
The 2017 Q50 added even more trims, including a Signature Edition 3.0t trim. The Red trim level was changed to the Red Sport trim. Despite the addition of more trims, the features included in the base models were still great, like 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and eight-way power-adjustable front seats.
The Premium and Sport models feature luxury amenities like a Bose surround-sound system and sport-tuned suspension.
The 2.0t Pure model comes with selectable drive modes, automatic dual-zone climate control and 17-inch alloy wheels, but if the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 is more to your liking, check out the Luxe and Sport trims. The 3.0t Luxe has maple interior accents and the 3.0t Sport has 19-inch wheels and leather upholstery.
For the 2019 model year, the Infiniti Q50 comes standard with predictive forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, a spacious trunk, keyless start, auto-off headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control and much more.
Whether you opt for the base model 2.0t Pure model, with its 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, or the roaring Red Sport 400 edition, with its monstrous, 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6, you’re getting a luxury sedan that’s safe, sporty and stylish.
What’s New for 2020?
The 2020 Q50 drops the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and now comes equipped with a powerful twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 as the base engine. Plus, the interior now comes with a new update to the Infiniti’s dual-screen InTouch multimedia system which includes crystal-clear HD displays and new Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. The Q50 comes in five available trims, including the Pure, Luxe, Edition 30, Sport, and the Red Sport 400.
